About ToolVaults
What this is
ToolVaults is a collection of 108 small, focused utilities that run entirely in your browser. JSON formatting, hash generation, unit conversion, mortgage math, color contrast, QR codes, and so on. The kind of tools you find on ten different sites, in one place, without ads dressed as tools, popups asking for your email, or a shell around a paid product.
Why it exists
Every existing all-in-one tool site optimises for one-off visits: you land, do one thing, leave, and never come back. That’s fine but leaves value on the table for the person and for the site. ToolVaults is built to be the tab you keep open — familiar layout across every tool, keyboard shortcuts everywhere, share-by-URL for every tool’s state, a command palette (⌘K) for jumping around, and recent-tools memory so the site remembers what you were doing last time.
Principles
- Local by default. Every tool’s computation happens on your device. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server.
- No accounts, no signups. If a tool needs configuration, that configuration lives in the URL or in your browser’s localStorage. It stays with you.
- Share by link. The state of most tools mirrors into the URL. Send the URL, the recipient sees the same result.
- Works offline. Install ToolVaults as a Progressive Web App and every tool you’ve visited works with no connection.
- Light on ads. When we do run ads, they’re modest, respect your consent choice, and never pretend to be tools.

Data and privacy
We use privacy-respecting analytics (Cloudflare, cookieless). We do not sell data. When ads are shown, they follow the consent choice you set in the cookie banner, and you can change that choice any time via Cookie preferences in the footer.
