Privacy Policy

Short version

ToolVaults tools run entirely in your browser. Anything you paste, upload, or type into a tool stays on your device — it is never sent to our servers, logged, or shared. We do not require accounts, we do not use tracking cookies of our own, and we do not sell data.

What we don’t collect

• The contents of anything you process with a tool (text, files, JSON, images, code).
• Your name, email, or any account information — there are no accounts.
• Personal identifiers (device IDs, advertising IDs, precise location).
• Cookies from us. We do not set any.

What is collected automatically

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics service that does not use cookies and does not fingerprint visitors. It counts aggregate page views and referrers so we know which tools are useful. No cross-site or long-term profiles are built.

Standard web-server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) may be collected by our host, Cloudflare, for a short period for security and abuse prevention. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Advertising

We may display third-party ads (via Google AdSense) to help support the site. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.

URL sharing

Many tools mirror their state into the page URL so you can bookmark or share a filled-in tool. If you paste sensitive data (secrets, personal information) and share the resulting URL, that data will be visible to anyone with the link. Treat URL-encoded state the same way you’d treat a public paste — remove sensitive fields before sharing.

Offline use

ToolVaults is a Progressive Web App. Once you’ve visited a tool, the browser caches its code so you can use it offline. Nothing is transmitted while offline — it’s the same in-browser computation.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what data is collected, this page will be updated with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
