How does reverse tax work?
Given a gross (tax-inclusive) price and a rate, we compute the net price by dividing: net = gross / (1 + rate/100). Useful for extracting pre-tax price from a receipt total.
Are the preset rates current?
They're accurate as of 2026-08 but tax rates change — always verify with your tax authority or accountant before filing.
Multiple taxes stacked?
