Frequently asked

What is a good reaction time?

Average human reaction time is 200–300 ms. Under 200 ms is excellent. Elite gamers average around 150–180 ms.

Why does my result vary?

Reaction time depends on alertness, caffeine, sleep, and whether you anticipated the click. 5-attempt averages are more reliable than single attempts.

What if I click too early?

Clicking before the screen turns green counts as a false start and that attempt is discarded.

Can I use the keyboard?

Yes — press Space or Enter instead of clicking when the screen turns green.
