How to use

Choose a difficulty
Select Easy (~45 givens), Medium (~35 givens), or Hard (~25 givens) and click New Game.

Fill in numbers
Click any empty cell to select it, then type 1–9 to fill it. Use Backspace or Delete to clear a cell. Arrow keys move the selection.

Use hints and validation
Tap Hint (3 available) to reveal one correct cell. Tap Validate to highlight conflicts in red and correct entries in green.

Complete the grid
Fill every cell correctly to win. The timer stops and your best time is recorded if it is a new record.

How do I play Sudoku?

Fill every row, column, and 3×3 box with the digits 1–9, each appearing exactly once. Click a cell and type a number to fill it in.

What do the difficulty levels change?

Easy reveals ~45 givens, Medium ~35, Hard ~25 — fewer starting numbers means more deduction is required.

What does the Hint button do?

It fills in one random empty or incorrect cell with the correct value. You get 3 hints per puzzle.

Does it validate my progress?

Yes — tap Validate to highlight conflicts in red and confirmed correct entries in green.

Are my best times saved?

Yes. Your fastest completion time for each difficulty is stored in your browser's localStorage and persists across sessions on the same device.
