How to use

  1. 1
    Pick a Leader deck

    Choose from 5 pre-built decks: Red (Luffy), Blue (Nami), Green (Zoro), Purple (Doflamingo), or Black (Whitebeard). Each Leader defines your color, starting power, and life count.

    Set up the board

    Life cards equal to your Leader's life value are placed face-down. Your 10-card DON!! supply sits separately. Both players draw 5 cards to start.

    Take turns through 4 phases

    Each turn: Refresh (un-rest all cards, return DON!! from characters) → Draw 1 card → DON!! Phase (add 2 DON!! to your active pool) → Main Phase (play cards, attach DON!!, attack).

    Use the DON!! boost system

    DON!! cards are your resource. Pay DON!! to play Characters and Events. Attach active DON!! to your characters or leader to boost their power by +1000 each.

    Attack with leader or characters

    Rest an un-rested card to attack. Opponent may block with a character with the Blocker keyword. If your power exceeds the target's, the leader takes a life card into hand. Deplete all life cards and land one more hit to win.

What is the DON!! system?

DON!! cards are a separate 10-card resource supply. Each turn you add 2 DON!! to your active pool (up to 10). You spend DON!! to play cards (rest them) and attach DON!! to characters or your leader to boost their power by +1000 each.

How do life cards work?

When your leader takes a hit, you reveal the top life card from your stack and add it to your hand. If that card has a Trigger keyword, its effect activates immediately. When your life stack is empty and your leader takes another hit, you lose.

What does Resting a card mean?

A rested card is rotated 90° sideways. Rested cards cannot attack. All cards refresh (return upright) at the start of your next turn. DON!! attached to characters also return to the active DON!! pool during Refresh.

Can I have more than 5 characters in play?

No. You can have a maximum of 5 characters in your field zone at any time. Your leader card does not count toward this limit.

What is the Blocker keyword?

When an opponent attacks your leader, you may rest a character with the Blocker keyword to redirect the attack to that character instead. The blocker must be un-rested to activate.

How does Rush work?

Characters with the Rush keyword can attack on the same turn they are played. Normally, characters cannot attack on the turn they enter play.
